I love to use felt applique in the past to create cute images on my handmade crafts. However, lately, I fell in love with fabric applique as it is so easy to use (Thanks to tons of tutorials available on internet). You will need to design your image on paper and transfer the image to bond paper which you will use it to iron onto the fabric. Thereafter, cut out the fabric applique, iron onto the fabric for your pouch or tote and stitch it around..
I had hand stitched this little fabric deer applique using blanket stitch.. it looked so cute.. I have always wanted a little deer as applique and the vintage floral fabric made it looked outstanding too.. it took me 1.5 hours to sketch the little deer outline, transfer to fabric and handstitched all round it.. it is fully interfaced too.. cant wait to see the final product.. hope you will like it :)
